SERVICE DELIVERY - STAKEHOLDERS

Importance of Stakeholders and Call Logging

Service delivery in our communities is dependent on a couple of stakeholders:

1. City Parks - maintenance of parks - 011 988 0012

2. Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) - maintenance of roads , storm water drains - 011  298 500

3. Pikitup - refuse collection and dumping sites - 087 357 1340

4. Eskom - supply of electricity  - 086 003 7566

5. City Power- maintenance of street lights - 011 933 1617

6. South African Police Services (SAPS) - safety and security of residents - 10 111

7. Joburg Water - supply of water and maintenance of water systems  - 011 688 1699

8. Johannesburg Metro Police (JMPD)/ Wardens - enforce by-laws  - 011 375 5555

Failure of these stakeholders is dire to the livelihood of every resident in our communities and South Africa at large. Communities need to forge a healthy relationship with these stakeholders;

 - report/or log calls calls with them and hold the accountable in the delivery of services in our communities. (https://mysmart.city/)

 - stakeholders need to communicate maintenance schedules with the communities

 - hold them accountable for any lack of delivery of service

Residents are encouraged to utilise every platform available to log calls with the above stakeholders. We can only hold them accountable if

 - they don't attend to calls logged based on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) they have with the communities

 - they do not adhere to the service/maintenance schedule they have communicated to the residents

Communities, we need to rebuild our country and it starts by ensuring that service is rendered to the residents of South Africa.
